  Frankenmuth Community Education is located at 525 East Genesee Street, Frankenmuth. The Frankenmuth School District Office and Community Education hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-4pm. A new Community Education flyer and Youth flyer is available on the FSD web page.  Hard copies are available at the District Office and Wickson Library.

Upcoming Community Education Classes
  Scrapbook Tuesdays - Join us for Tuesday crops. We will have classes on digital scrap booking but will also have traditional scrap booking supplies, so both are welcome.  Instructor: Lynn Zeddies, $2, February 28, 4-10pm, FHS Room 9
  Intro to Photography -  In the first part of class, students will learn the basics of photography; then they will have 30 minutes to go out and take pictures.  On their return to class, students will learn how they can improve their picture taking. Instructor: Emily Rymarczyk, $14, Wednesday, March 8, 6:30-8:30pm, FHS Media Center
  All Occasion Notecards with Box - Create 20 all occasion notecards (envelopes included) using a Project Life card kit.  Participants must register by Thursday, March 2. Instructor: Pam Bishop, $29, Thursday, March 15, 6:30pm, FHS Room 9

Youth Classes
  Kids Can Bake... ages 6-12 - We will take and make some recipes from the Food Network.  We will make simple baked goods aimed at young bakers who are eager to get their hands messy. Instructor: Bonnie VanVoorhees, $29, Monday, March 6, 3:10-6pm, List Cafeteria
  Child Care Workshop - On completion of this course you will have learned infant/child CPR, prevention and treatment of illnesses, well baby care, and management of children from infant to school age.  Must be 11 years old. You will need to bring a snack and baby doll. Instructor: Janette Kujat, $59 (includes t-shirt and care giver kit) Monday, March 6-Thursday, March 9, 3:05-6pm, List Library
  Little Stars Intro to Theatre K-2 grade - Your little stars will enjoy learning the magic of theatre in a fun-filled and energetic setting.  They will learn about using their voice, body, and mind to tell a story and convey a character.  Instructor: Lauren Masud Visuri, $49, (three weeks: Tuesdays and Thursdays) Thursday, March 9, 6-7:30pm, FHS Green Room 
  Broadway Musical Workshop Grades 3-6 -  Students will learn songs, choreography, and acting to Broadway music chorus score.  Wear comfortable clothing, dance shoes-such as jazz shoes, ballet slippers, or athletic shoes with hair pulled away from the face. Instructors: Megan MacIntosh, Greg Austin and Lauren Masud Visuri, $59 (four weeks) Monday, March 6, 4:30-6pm, BPAC. Performance on Friday, April 7

Upcoming Community Education Trips
  The Eastern Market Feet on The Street Rolling Brunch Tour - Once at the Eastern Market we will stroll from shed to shed along with visiting specialty stores where we will learn about their unique products, hear fun facts as well as the history of the area, while going behind the scenes and sampling various foods.  Dress for the weather, as we will be walking outdoors as well as in shops and sheds. $69. Saturday, May 6, 7:45am-5pm. Reservation and payment deadline: Friday, March 24
  Amish Country Tour - We are off to Clare where our stops include shopping at the Amish bulk food store, visit the local quilt shop, wood working shop, bakery, Hochsteler’s General Store, and lunch prepared using no electricity by Lydia Yoder.  Fee includes transportation, Amish trivia, Amish documentary, lunch and escort.  $59. Tuesday, May 16, 9am-6pm. Reservation and payment deadline Tuesday, April 25

Upcoming Bronner Performing Arts Events
  Lyricists of the Great American Songbook Featuring Jim Martinez and Cynthia Douglas - This lecture/musical event will provide a historical look at the innovative lyricists who shaped American popular music in the years between World War I and World War II. Highlighted in the presentation will be Irving Berlin, Lorenz Hart, Ira Gershwin, Cole Porter, Oscar Hammerstein, and Johnny Mercer. Throughout the program, Douglas and Martinez will perform a selection of songs written by each of the featured lyricists. Friday, March 17, 7pm. Show tickets are $10 adults and $5 students. Bronner Performing Arts Center.
