“Parental Guidance Required” parenting class offered at St. Lorenz
Of all the assignments God will give you during your time on earth, none may be more sacred than the task of raising your children. “The Parental Guidance Required” DVD is designed to give you the counsel you need to help prepare your children for the future. It is a practical resource that will encourage you to look at the relationships in your children’s lives and ask the important questions.
Our study will continue on Sunday, December 8 at 9:30am in the Junior High Wing room 146 in St. Lorenz school. If you have any questions, call Kay (989-652-2248).
MOPS “A Beautiful Mess: Embrace Your Story” set to begin
St. Lorenz Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) invites you to join us for an exciting new year based on the theme: “A Beautiful Mess: Embrace Your Story.” Our theme is based on the Bible verse Ephesians 2:10: “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.”
Meetings include insightful speakers, helpful demonstrations, small mom-to-mom discussion groups, creative activities, great food, and relaxing fellowship.
Daytime MOPS (which provides free childcare) usually meets two Friday mornings each month from 8:45–10:45am. Evening MOPS usually meets the first Tuesday of each month beginning at 6:15pm. All area mothers who are expecting, and/or with children from birth through kindergarten are invited and encouraged to join us!
Please call or email Sarah Parker (248-721-7836, email@example.com) or Lisa Kerns (989-652-6061, mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information and to register for the daytime group.
