Essentials of Discipline series continues Feb. 14

  The dvd series, "Essentials of Discipline”, offers answers, insight and solutions to one of the biggest challenges every parent encounters: Discipline.  
  The community is invited to join other parents for a class on Sunday, February 14 at 9:30am in room 146 at St. Lorenz School.  The focus will be on "Changing Discipline as your Child Grows”.

Health Screenings at St. Lorenz Feb. 22

  Residents living in and around the Frankenmuth area can learn about their risk for cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, diabetes, and other chronic, serious conditions with affordable screenings by Life Line Screening. St Lorenz Lutheran School will host this community event on February 22, 2016. The site is located at 140 Churchgrove Road in Frankenmuth.
  Screenings can check for:
* The level of plaque buildup in your arteries, related to risk for heart disease, stroke and overall vascular health.
* HDL and LDL Cholesterol levels
* Diabetes risk
* Bone density as a risk for possible osteoporosis
* Kidney and thyroid function, and more
  Screenings are affordable, convenient and accessible for wheelchairs and those with trouble walking. Free parking is also available.

Monday is Euchre Night

  Do you like to play Euchre? You are invited to join in every Monday night at the Rock (across from St. Lorenz Lutheran School) at 6:30pm.
  "Bid Euchre" fee is $2 per person; participants must know how to play euchre.
