American Legion Post #125 to host March dinners

  The American Legion Post #125, 13613 Dixie Highway, Birch Run, will host a variety of  dinners on Wednesdays  throughout the month of March. 

  All meals are served from Noon to 6pm, and the menu is as follows:  March 25, beef stew.   

  The cost is $6 per person and carry out and delivery are available by calling 989-624-6445.

  Veterans and the public is welcome.

Cod fish fry dinner at St. Martin's March 27

  St. Martin Lutheran Church in Birch Run will be hosting an All You Can Eat cod fish fry dinner on Friday, March 27, 11am-2pm and 4-7pm in the fellowship hall, 10995 Canada at Gera Rd.

  The menu includes cod, French fries, cole slaw, bread, coffee or milk. Desserts are available. The cost is $10 for adults, youth 5-12, $7 and under 5 are free.  Tickets can be purchased at the door.  Take-outs are available.

Taymouth Presbyterian Church to hold fish fry March 27

  The Taymouth Presbyterian Church is holding its "All You Care to Eat" Fish Fry on Friday, March 27, with serving times 11am-1pm and 4-7pm.

  The menu includes coleslaw, rolls, French fries/baked potato, fried fish, homemade pies and beverage.  The cost is $10 for adults; $5 children 6-12; free for children 5 and younger.

  Take outs are available for $9  by calling the church (989-624-9473) the day of the fish fry and do not include a beverage.

  The church is located at 12517 Morseville Rd., Birch Run, 1/2 mile south of the Taymouth Fire Dept. on Birch Run Rd.

Fleschner memorial Library seeking vendors for craft fair

  The Friends of Fleschner memorial Library are looking for vendors and crafters that would like to participate in the fifth bi-annual vendor/crafter fair to be held at the Fleschner Memorial Library, 11935 Silver Creek Drive, Birch Run.

  The date of the fair is set for Saturday, April 25 from 10-3.
