SYSTEMS ENGINEER – CONTROLS - Nexteer Automotive Corporation has an opening for Systems Engineer – Controls in Saginaw, MI, responsible for the design & analysis of the controls of electronic power steering systems using dynamic system modelling & simulation. Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience in offered position or related occupation. Experience with PID, LQR/RHLQR algorithms, & Model Predictive Controls (MPC); Experience with programming & simulation skills (with Matlab/Simulink); Experience with performing engineering calculations using spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel); Experience with vehicle dynamics, mechanical systems, electronic systems, & computer hardware & software.
