Eagles SportsLady Eagle kickers piling up victories as the MHSAA Division postseason nears
The Frankenmuth varsity girls’ soccer team is nearing the end of a very successful regular season as it prepares for the MHSAA Division 3 postseason.
The Lady Eagles are 12-2-4 overall this season and 5-1-3 in the Tri-Valley Conference Red Division. Freeland is the league leader at 7-0-3 (with two of the three ties against ‘Muth) and 10-2-4 overall. Essexville Garber is 7-0-2 (one tie against the Lady Eagles) and 10-3-5 overall.
FHS Coach Brad Thompson acknowledged the team has been on a rather hot streak and consistently ranked among the top 15 schools in Division 3, despite a 2-1 loss to Bay City Western May 4, a 2-2 tie at Pontiac Notre Dame Prep, and a 3-1 loss at Garber. ....
