Legacy Ball funding to boost City Beautification coffers

    Bowties and floral dresses were the apparel of choice at the annual Frankenmuth Community Foundation’s annual Legacy Ball Dachshund Derby, held at Zehnder’s of Frankenmuth on Saturday, April 27.

  Approximately 200 persons gathered for this year’s event as the FCF partnered with the Frankenmuth City Beautification Committee (CBC) to raise funds to replace and upgrade the iconic “Willkommen” sign on the west bank of the Cass River. The permanent structure will allow “Willkommen” lettering during the spring, summer and fall months, and “Peace on Earth” during the winter season to be firmly attached to the new structure.
