Lions Club Boys Basketball program
Registration open for Lions basketball
The 2013 Frankenmuth Lions Club Boys Basketball program will take place on January 5 through March 2 at Frankenmuth High School and Rittmueller Middle School.
The FHS coaching staff and players, in coordination with the Frankenmuth Parks and Recreation Department, offers this program with support from the Frankenmuth Lions Club.
“Players spend time learning the fundamentals of the game while playing games each week,” FHS Coach Andy Donovan said.
The league is open to boys in grades 3-6. The third and fourth grade boys will compete on Saturdays 9-10:30am and the fifth and sixth grade boys will play 11am until 12:30pm.
Parents are encouraged to assist as volunteer coaches which are needed. Volunteers will be provided with assistance on practice plans, drills and player expectations.
The registration deadline is Friday, December 28 and the cost is $50 per player, which includes a team t-shirt. Make checks payable to the City of Frankenmuth and mail to the Frankenmuth Parks and Recreation Department, 240 West Genesee Street, Frankenmuth, MI. 48734.
