CHEERLEADERS ORGANIZE “PINK OUT” GAME: The Frankenmuth High School cheerleading program is organizing a Breast Cancer Awareness Game when the Eagle varsity football team hosts North Branch at 7pm Friday, September 28. The home game against the Broncos will be a “pink out” and the cheerleaders ask the fans of both teams to wear pink. The Eagles will be wearing pink socks and other articles of clothing, such as gloves. The cheerleaders are currently selling pink t-shirts, as modeled above by cheerleaders and FHS students Abby Engel (left) and Cassidy Spendlove, for $10 each. They are available at the FHS office and will be available at the game, along with pink ribbons. To get a shirt ahead of time, which will help ensure the proper size, contact the FHS office at 652-9955. All proceeds will benefit the National Breast Cancer Association. During halftime, Cancer survivors will be escorted across the track and on to the field. All cancer survivors are invited to attend the game and be recognized at halftime. 1345
