Lutheran Home Care Hospice of Hope
Volunteer opportunities available in Frankenmuth, Saginaw and the Thumb area. Volunteer opportunities include office and patient volunteers.
Patient volunteers visit with hospice patients and can provide companionship, respite, prayer, Bible reading, hand massage, gardening, and pet therapy.
Also, veterans are needed to visit with patients who are veterans as part of our Vet-to-Vet program. Free volunteer training sessions are scheduled in June on Monday and Wednesday 6-8pm beginning June 3 and concluding on June 26.

Bavarian Fest volunteers sought
The 55th Frankenmuth Bavarian Festival will take place Thursday through Sunday, June 6-9, in Heritage Park and the Harvey Kern Community Pavilion.
Brent Weiss, the 2013 Civic Events Council president, is looking for volunteers to assist with set up, tear down and other positions during the festivalís four days. Volunteers are also needed to assist with Bavarian Sunday Parade.
Set up will begin on Monday, June 3 and most of the tear down takes place Sunday evening.
