Frankenmuth Parks & Rec update
ICE NEARLY READY: Frankenmuth Parks and Recreation Department employee David Erbisch looks on as helps flood the ice rink inside the Harvey Kern Community Pavilion in Heritage Park. Flooding began in late 2012 and the warm snap of January 12 hampered the work. Parks and Rec Director Daren Kaschinske anticipates hockey players and free skaters will be able to take to the ice by as early as Friday. Persons should call 652-3440, extension 1 for the latest ice conditions. The cost is $2 per person. (News photo)
